First things first...having a transparent background means you can save as a png file. That means when you upload to Design Space (or Scan n Cut) you won’t need ANY clean up.
Getting a transparent background in Phonto the first time is a bit of a pain...but once you save the template it’s always there to use again...so let’s get that background made...
I went through your steps, but when I get the screen where I'm supposed to click the white box and it's supposed to say REMOVE..that doesn't happen. My screen looks exactly like your example, just doesn't offer me to remove anything. :(
